Culturally Safe Support for Women and Children
The WASH House is proud to deliver the NPA Domestic and Family Violence (DFSV) Program, dedicated to supporting Aboriginal women and their children experiencing domestic and family violence.
We provide a culturally sensitive, trauma-informed approach to help women feel safe, heard, and empowered. Our services are free and confidential.
How We Can Help
Our program offers:

We work alongside you to develop personalised support plans and connect you with the services you need.
✅ Safety Planning
We help you develop strategies to stay safe, whether you choose to stay, leave, or are in transition.
✅ Legal Support
Access referrals for legal advice and assistance with AVOs, custody issues, and court support.
✅ Housing and Financial Help
We support you to find safe accommodation and navigate financial hardship and Centrelink systems.
✅ Emotional and Cultural Support
We provide a safe space to share your story, reconnect with culture, and begin your healing journey.
Who Can Access This Program?
This service is available to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and their children living in Western Sydney who are currently experiencing or recovering from domestic and family violence.
