WASH House COVID-19 Update

Dear WASH House Community

This is a quick update about COVID-19 (the Corona Virus) and WASH House.

The wellbeing of all our clients and staff continues to be our top priority. We hope all of you are keeping safe and well and managing the impact of the virus on yourself, your family and your community. We acknowledge that the stress and uncertainty of the current situation can be difficult and encourage you to contact us if you need support. Most of all we encourage everyone to be calm and to be kind – to themselves and to others.

At this stage we are open for business as usual. We are not attending non-essential meetings and may have to reduce face to face contact in the future. We will do our best to keep you informed of any changes.

We are keeping up to date with advice from the Government and following recommendations. This means we have implemented social distancing practices and increased hygiene measures. We encourage you to do the same in your daily life.

We ask that if you have been overseas or have travelled to one of the listed hotspots in the past 14 days OR been in contact with someone with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 OR have any symptoms of a contagious illness (including flu) that you don’t visit the centre for appointments or attend groups. Talk to us about whether we can provide you a service over the phone.

A full list of NSW hotspots can be found here https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/.../case-locations-and...
