Intake and Support Pathways

At the WASH House, our Intake Team is here to listen, guide, and connect women to the supports they need. This includes a brief assessment of your current situation, providing information and referral, and linking you to the right services, whether that’s within our centre or the broader community.

We can assist with things like:

  • Connecting you to family support, counselling, domestic and family violence services, or legal assistance

  • Referrals for housing, parenting programs, health and wellbeing services

  • Providing a welcoming first step to access ongoing case management if needed

We also maintain up-to-date directories of local services and programs, including:

  • Accommodation services

  • Parenting programs

  • Family support services

  • Health and wellbeing programs

  • You won’t be pressured to take any steps you’re not ready for.

  • You’re welcome to bring a support person if it helps you feel more comfortable.
